Reception for Vancouver / Yokohama 50th Golden Jubilee

Vancouver and Yokohama cities celebrated 50 years as sister cities at a Golden Jubilee ceremony. Celebrating a connection that has in place from 1965, the reception for the Jubilee was held at the Roundhouse Community Center's main auditorium.

There were many Japan and Canada related performance such as Taiko drumming, contemporary dance, First Nations live music, and calligraphy. Kisyuu performed with a brush and ink to create an piece that shows the connection between Yokohama and Vancouver.
