Spatial poetics XV

Spatial Poetics is an annual event held during the Powell Street Festival to to create new performance-based work together and encouraged to work beyond their usual disciplines.

The theme in 2016 was inspired by Japanese ghost stories. The first half of the evening features Linda Uyehara Hoffman, Eileen Kage, and Kisyuu presenting a new piece inspired by Spanish, First Nations, and Russian ghostlore. This new work fuses elements of human voice, taiko drumming, and live visual art.
